This week the work crew augured and cemented in the last 6 anchors for the final 6 baskets.  Hole 13 was widened for about 50 feet. Hole 10 also had some widening work done on it.  Next week the work crew will be out Saturday and Sunday removing stumps from mainly hole 12, and finalizing the last 6 holes.

We had 9 players turnout for the Saturday mini.  Congratulations to Jim Kelly for winning first place with a 6 over. This was Jim's first visit to Texas Army Trail after the baskets were installed.

We had 14 players compete in the Sunday doubles.  Scott and Rynn took first place bettering their record set last week of even par by shooting 1 under. The round was very competitive with second place shooting 2 over, and 3 teams shooting 3 over.

July 4th seems to be shaping up to have a large turnout.  Bring your friends, children, wives, and appetite to enjoy free hamburgers, hot dogs, and potato chips.  The food will start at 3:30pm on July 4th, and the mini will start around 5 pm.
