Chuck Haney - Volunteering at Texas Army Trail - Disc Golf Course

Volunteering at Texas Army Trail in the New Bud Hadfield Park

Woo hoo! All 18 holes have now baskets installed.

This course is one of the most challenging in the area currently measuring approximately 6800'.

The Precinct granted us permission to begin clearing fairways starting in September 2010. There has been a consistent small group of volunteers working on the course since then headed by Chuck Haney. The work on the disc golf course is completed.

The Precinct has installed  a parking area, has removed the cleared brush, and provided fill dirt for low areas created by ATV trails.  Precinct 3 will be installing concrete tee pads.

Many thanks to all those who continue to volunteer their time, effort & money.
